UN PESSE NEL PRA – € 100pp
is a unique proposal in the Veronese culinary scene (and not only!) that speaks of territory in the highest of its exceptions, creatively combining at least as much as erudite, the fish and botanical herbs of our territory. It is a sensory experience proposed as a tasting menu to be ideally paired with the wines of our territory, with the intention of providing guests with memorable tastings made of unique flavors – and colors.
“Un Pesse nel Pra’” is a classic example of positive contamination between elements that on paper differ from each other, but actually perfectly combine the sweet tones of fish with the varied characters of wild herbs.
It is also and above all the culmination of a path of research that has deep roots in knowledge of the elements.
The project is the result of a collaboration between Fiorella dal Negro, owner of Agriturismo Torricelle, and Andrea Berti, owner of the seafood counter at Galleria Filippini in downtown Verona and present in the area as an Archichef at home. A collaboration that came about spontaneously and immediately brought positive emotions to those who had the chance to try it.

We’ve visited Nepos Villae as part of a weekend tasting wines in the Amarone area: this was certainly the highlight of it all! Great wines made by a family who clearly loves and cares about their products. Their wines are amazing and both the tour and the tasting they’ve organized were top notch and full of information, but at the same time keeping the tone very informal, as if we were just part of the family too!

Wauw en lille vingård som i et eventyr. Enkel mark. Hvor de laver deres 3 rødvine. Med 3 forskellige druer.
Vi bliv vist rundt over alt. Det var så godt. Sød og åben vært. Smagte deres vine som er noget helt andet end da andre steder jeg har besøgt i Valpolocella. I sær deres ripasso er helt unikt.
Jeg kommer gerne og hjælper med at høste i september 🙂🍷🇮🇹

We just reached out through the gate if we could have a taste of the wine. We were very warmly welcomed and we received a great tour of the house and the wine creation process in perfect English. Nepos Villae is a small winehouse that only produces a limited amount of bottles each year, but instead focusses on quality. And that pays off, the wine is absolutely delicious. Can recommend!

Fantastic wine, beautiful winery, great history behind, and amazing host, the family Ruffo made us feel very welcome, took their time to show us the vineyards, the house and their cellars, we really enjoyed our visit, perhaps one of the most special one to a winery in Europe as they made it very personal, if you are in Vaporicella, send them an email and go and try their wonderful wines, you are welcome!
