Gianni, Elena, Giulia, Alice and Ettore. We are Vigna Ròda, a family that has always lived and worked in our winery immersed in a unique panorama: the Euganean Hills.
Also known as “the Hills of Venice”, these “islands” of volcanic origin seem to arise in the middle of the “sea” of the Po valley. Here time is still punctuated by the sound of bells, the sounds of nature and a work of craft type and respectful of the environment.
Hence the minimum, if not absent, use of synthetic products.
This attention is always rewarded when in the cellar, after the harvest, between our hands we find good and healthy grapes, which allow us to limit to a minimum the intervention on the wine. Arriving at Vigna Ròda you can find us among the rows, in the cellar or ready to welcome you for a guided tasting, but also for a simple taste of wines, certainly not miss by all of us (except Ettore who is still a little too small) the desire to share and tell our origins, our philosophy and some anecdotes about our history, first as a family and then as a cellar.
Our land, as well as the wonderful Euganean Hills, are all areas that must be preserved and protected. For us this is important and we want our wines to make you feel the essence of our work and our corporate philosophy that well identified in this motto rhymes: “If you want to aim for the future, tradition, innovation and sustainability must go together”.
We are part of the great FIVI family, the federation that represents the Independent Winegrowers. But who is the winemaker? The independent winemaker cultivates his vineyards, vinifies his grapes, bottles his wine and personally takes care of the sale of the same, under his own responsibility, with his name and label.

Amazing place, family owned, super gracious host, excellent wine selection, places like this make you want to live in Italy. Gianni is a fantastic host, we had hard time saying goodbye, next time we will plan on stopping by for longer. Try all the wines, there’s skill and philosophy behind every variety, now back in the US we seek out this brand to enjoy pleasant memories of the visit to Vigna Roda. A+++

Esperienza Bellissima! Siamo stati in cantina per festeggiare un compleanno. Ci hanno accolti spiegandoci le origini del posto e la loro filosofia di lavoro delle vigne successivamente abbiamo fatto una degustazione di ben 7 vini, davvero difficile scegliere il più buono! Non tornerete a casa a mani vuote la qualità è alta!
